Kegan Coezee, Jan Roets Steyn de Lange,and Lene van As will be representing the Ion Baciu Wrestling Club in Tunisia.
POLOKWANE – The three wrestlers Steyn de Lange, Lene van As and Kegan Coezee have been training hard to make it to the final group and they look forward to making the best of the opportunity.
Their coach Jan Roets says that it is a big opportunity for the young wrestlers and that he would like to see them get the results they want especially after all the hard work they have put in to get to where they are.
Lene says that she likes competitions like these where she can learn. “Making mistakes is an opportunity for me to learn and in the end, it makes me a better wrestler. Steyn said he enjoys competing with wrestlers from the around the world and that competing against them gives him a chance to better his own technique.
Kegan told Review that he is looking forward to the competitiveness of the competition and he would like to see all local wrestlers get the opportunity that he has gotten.
The competition will take place from 26-31 March in Hammamet in Tunisia.
