POLOKWANE – Acting on a tip-off, the Westenburg police have arrested a 37-year-old man for possession of an illegal substance and confiscated 35kg of marijuana in Ext 71 on Friday.
This is just an example of how the police is serious about fighting crime in Limpopo and Polokwane, said the Westenburg police spokesperson, Capt Mohlaka Mashiane.
“The community will no longer stand for crime in the city and for criminals to do as they please,” Mashiane said. The man appeared in the Polokwane magistrate’s court on Friday and the case was postponed to a later date in December for a formal bail application.
