POLOKWANE – A local businessman from Westenburg donated a trampoline to Noddy’s Playground and Pre-school last Tuesday.
Son Jacobs, better known as Oom Son, says it is important to give back to the community, and that is one of the reasons why he decided to donate the trampoline to Noddy’s.
“The excitement and the joy on the children’s faces when I delivered the trampoline at the school was priceless.
“It brought warmth to my soul, because something that I consider small meant so much to them,” Jacobs says. Helen Percent, a teacher at Noddy’s said they were very surprised when Jacobs delivered the trampoline, because he didn’t tell them his plan. He just arrived at the school and delivered it.
“Oom Son came and he put up the trampoline and said it was for the children.
“The children love the trampoline and are very excited and enjoy playing on it.
“It is wonderful to know that there are people with kind hearts in our community, like Oom Son, who gives back to the community. We really appreciate it,” Percent says.
