POLOKWANE – A man was arrested recently after being linked to theft from cars in the city. He allegedly regularly targeted cars parked at schools when parents collected children from schools.
The Edwell Neighbourhood Watch recently distributed an email asking residents to be on the lookout for three cars, a red BMW, a white Kia and a white VW with detailed information regarding the models and number plates. The watch asked residents to report any sighting of the cars, linked to crimes at schools, to the police.
Earlier this week, a source in the police told Review that a man, who allegedly owns these three cars had been arrested and appeared in court on charges of theft from vehicles. According to WO Lesiba Ramashaba, investigations were continuing.
