Cops offer R10 000 for information about nappy thieves and others

THE Tubatse police are looking for the thieves who burgled the Choice Supermarket in Burgersfort on Monday March 10.

THE Tubatse police are looking for the thieves who burgled the Choice Supermarket in Burgersfort on Monday March 10.

The suspects fled with coins valued at around R11 000, baby nappies, and cigarettes. Anyone who can assist in this matter can contact Capt Mahlathini Ngele at 083 695 9543. A reward of R10 000 is being offered for information that leads to the successful arrest and prosecution of the suspects.

Meanwhile the police are seeking information on other suspects who burgled the surgery of Dr Maphakela.

According to Capt Mahlatini Ngele the thieves stole medication, computers and R40 000.

“We also urge locals to be on the lookout for thieves targeting ATMs. Never ask strangers for help at the bank, rather seek help from security personnel. We always receive complaints from people who were robbed at the ATMs,” he said.
