The Polokwane Municipality says the due date for account payments for rates and services will be extended to August 25.
This extension will accommodate the implementation of the new general valuation roll, which became effective on July 1.
The monthly rates accounts represent the new tariffs that have been approved by council and afford residents more time to pay.
