POLOKWANE – Stanford Lake College held their August prize-giving ceremony on August 7 during the school’s assembly.
Learners who excelled in culture, sport and academics were awarded full colours and honours.
Awards were given to:
• Gr. 10 – Rebecca Desmet, Sarah Progrund, Jason Wright and Benno Prinsloo received full colours for academics.
• Gr. 11 – full colours and honours for academics were awared to Rich Mongwe, James Greeff, Stuart Lunt and Rameez Tayob, who also received honours for academics, along with Conrad Schmidt.
• Gr. 12 – Josh Selfe received an honours award for academics.
• Netball – Marli Maree, Gabba Monyepao, Norvette Mnisi received full colours.
• Hockey – Channel du Plessis, Cassie Hawken, Kristen Tomes and Makungu Valoyi received half colours, while Marli Maree and Sphiwe Dlamini received full colours.
• Culture – full colours were awarded to Gabba Monyepao.
