A WELL-known overnight accommodation venue and Polokwane landmark, Col-John, is now under new management (the Rivoni group of companies) and is now known as the Col-John Hotel, a three-star hotel with a brand new look.
The facility offers excellent facilities to make the traveller or business person feel at home. Accommodation comprises of 43 rooms, which vary from standard to family or luxury rooms – airy and bright, all with ensuite bathrooms, air-conditioning, LCD TV, tea or coffee facilities, complimentary Wi-Fi and mini safes. Fifteen rooms have already been completely revamped and the whole lodge will be renovated by January 2015.
Your wish is the management’s command, and should you require, your room has functional space to write up that urgent report or for an ensuite office.The staff, 22 in total, are all local and Pedi speaking.
A three-bedroom penthouse with three ensuite bathrooms, self-catering kitchen, two lounges and private dining area, patio and swimming pool in well-manicured gardens, can accommodate up to six people, or private dinner parties or functions in an upmarket environment.
Catering for the business person, private sector or government departments, Col-John Hotel has four conference facilities for that all-important meetings. The facilities are fully equipped with data projector, PA systems, DVD, microphones, Panaboard, electronic screen and air-conditioning. The hotel offers full and half day packages or 24-hour fully inclusive packages.
The conference centres are named after Limpopo districts: Waterberg can accommodate 55 people, Capricorn 32 people, Vhembe 25 people and the bordrom can accommodate 15 peopl. The conference rooms have been refurbished completely and are user-friendly and popular venues.
