Potgieter Ave: work done soon

POLOKWANE – Motorists making use of Potgieter Ave will only have to wait one more week before the resurfacing of the road has been completed.

Municipal spokesperson Malesela Maubane said resurfacing started towards the end of December when heavy rainfall caused one pothole after the other. He said the municipality decided to be pro-active and resurface the entire area instead of just repairing the potholes.

“The municipality is working around the clock to ensure the roads were up to standard,” he said.

“Residents can assist by reporting road-related issues to the municipality to (015) 290 2372/3/4 or (015) 290 2095.”
