Rameez Patel released on bail
Local business man, Rameez Patel, who stands accused of murdering his wife, Fatima, has been granted bail of R250 000.
POLOKWANE – Local business man, Rameez Patel, who stands accused of murdering his wife, Fatima, has been granted bail of R250 000.
The bail application continued today at the Polokwane Magistrates court, with Magistrate Mohammad Shaik reading the Defence and State cases.
According to Shaik the police statement was incomplete and there are many questions surrounding the witness accounts given.
Patel has been released on bail on condition that he reports to the Westenburg police station three times a day.
He will appear in Polokwane magistrates court on 7 July 2015.
