Police discover man’s body after call-out

A man was found hanging from the roof of his garage at a residence in Rissik Street on Tuesday.

POLOKWANE – A man was found hanging from the roof of his garage on Tuesday.

Polokwane police spokesperson, Capt Ntobeng Phala, said the police were called to a residence in Rissik Street.

“The woman told the police that she had found a strange letter from her husband telling her that he loved her very much and that he was sorry.

“Knowing that her husband was using medication, she searched the house and yard for her husband and found his body hanging from the garage ceiling,” said Phala.

Emergency medical services were called to the scene, but the man was pronounced dead on the scene.

Phala confirmed that an inquest had been opened and was being investigated.
