Soup, warm clothes show FNB cares

During their 67 minutes for Mandela campaign, FNB showed they cared at the Westenburg Freedom Centre with the guidance of pastor Godfrey Homela.

POLOKWANE – During their 67 minutes for Mandela campaign, FNB showed they cared at the Westenburg Freedom Centre with the guidance of pastor Godfrey Homela.

FNB personnel came together at the Freedom Centre last Friday where they had a soup kitchen. They also handed out clothes to the less-privileged people in the area.

FNB brought a smile to many of the people’s faces.

The people clearly felt uplifted by FNB’s campaign as they cheered everyone who made a contribution.

Freedom Centre elder, Bertha Richter, said they would be at the Freedom Centre every Tuesday and Thursday in order to receive any donations including warm clothing, blankets and non-perishable food that anyone wished to donate.

“We just want to say thank you to FNB and all the other sponsors that assisted us during the day; this means a lot to us,” Richter and Homela said.
