Limpopo rapist (25) gets 18 years

LIMPOPO –  A 25-year-old rapist was sentenced to 18 years by the Groblersdal regional court on Thursday.

Lucas Moremi was convicted on the charge of raping of a 10-year-old girl on 23 March 2013 said provincial police spokesperson, Col Ronel Otto.

“Moremi overpowered  the young victim while she was walking home. He dragged her into the bushes and raped her,” explained Otto.

Moremi was arrested a day after the incident was reported.
