Notice of interruption of electricity in Mokopane
The Mogalakwena Municipality would like to inform consumers in the following areas of an interruption of the electricity supply on 24 and 25 September.
MOKOPANE – The Mogalakwena Municipality would like to inform consumers in the following areas of an interruption of the electricity supply on 24 and 25 September from 06:00 to 19:00.
•Industrial area: extensions 5, 6 and 13
•Residential areas: extension 17 and Alutta, (Alutta Park).
•Farming areas on the following rural lines: Uitloop, Uitkyk, Amatava, Helderfontein, Weenen and Makapans Valley.
The power interruption is necessary to do important upgrading and maintenance on the municipality’s northern substation. At the same time the opportunity will be used for other much needed maintenance during this period.
Please take note no guarantee can be given the electricity will remain disconnected for the whole period. People are informed to consider all connections as live at all times!
