Her trademark laugh is back on airwaves

LIMPOPO – Abigail Lady A Maswanganye has been added to the Hlanganani FM (96.2) line-up to add a bit of spunk to the show.

Lady A made a name for herself at the Giyani-based station, Giyani Community Radio (GCR FM).

She has always promised fans she would be back on air to entertain them and give them that trademark laugh of hers.

The radio presenter, who studied marketing after high school, used social media to build her brand and to keep in the minds and hearts of her followers after she left GCR FM.

Ironically, Lady A was once so shy her mother would have never thought she will wow crowds as MC at events or as a radio presenter.

“I taught myself how to present by locking myself up in my room and practising, using my phone to record myself,” explains Lady A.

Listening with a critical ear, Lady A likes to continue learning and improving herself.

“At Hlanganani FM, I present a music show named Party Time Fridays from 21:00 to 00:00. I never imagined myself doing this sort of show before, but I realised this is a challenge that can take me to a new level,” she explains.

The ambitious presenter dreams of the day she will have her own radio station.
