BOOK NOW: ABASA will launch a branch in Limpopo this Friday
The Association for the Advancement of Black Accountants in Southern Africa (Abasa) will soon be launching in the Limpopo province.

LIMPOPO – The Association for the Advancement of Black Accountants in Southern Africa (Abasa) will soon be launching in the Limpopo province.
The launch will take place at the Masana outdoor entertainment centre in Tweefontein on Friday, 16 October and will start at 18:00.
“The aim of the launching event is to let people take note about the association’s presence in Limpopo. “We want people to know that we are here. We are available to also do career guidance and expos at schools.
“We also request that our guests bring school shoes along with them to the launch. We will identify a school to donate these shoes to,” explains Lerato Setlolamathe from Abasa.
The MEC of Economic Development, Environment and Tourism, Seaparo Sekoati, is expected to make an appearance at the launch.
Entrance fees are as follows: Corporate booking R3 000 per table (seats 10 people), ABASA members pay R100 per person and non-members R200 per person.
Guests who cannot bring a pair of school shoes can alternatively make a donation of R200. All the proceeds will be donated to identified schools.
Advancement of Black Accountants in Southern Africa (Abasa)
The association is a non-profit organisation (NPO) established in 1985 to promote the professional interests of black people engaged in the accounting profession.
According to Abasa they are committed and dedicated in this pursuit, and are driven by the need to ensure that every black accountant and aspiring accountant is able to realise their full potential and aspirations.
The association functions under the following objectives: to facilitate and encourage the entry of blacks into the accounting profession and to identify and work for the removal of the conditions which are detrimental to the professional well-being of black accountants.
