LIMPOPO – Maj Genl Dibero Mina Molatjana, the provincial head of the Directorate for Priority Crime Investigation (DPCI) in Limpopo, was found guilty of fraud by the South African Police Service Disciplinary Committee following her suspension in May.
Her judgement will be handed down on 28 October.
Molatjana was found guilty of being an accomplice to fraud for her role in requesting her secretary to register her (Molatjana’s) sister as her dependent in a medical aid scheme. She was also found guilty of instructing her subordinates to use state owned vehicles to transport her son on several occasions from Polokwane to Pretoria where he was studying.
Lt Genl Mthandazo Nltemeza, the national head of the DPCI, welcomed the Molatjana’s verdict and warned other members that they will be faced with the same fate if they involved themselves in corrupt activities.
