LIMPOPO -Motorists have once again been advised to avoid the R36 road at The Oaks area between Tzaneen and Hoedspruit.
“The R36 road between Hoedspruit and Tzaneen is once again blocked – members of the community dug a trench across the road,” reports provincial police spokesperson, Col Ronel Otto on Thursday morning.
According to previous reports the protesting residents last week Wednesday set a truck alight in the area and blocked the road with tyres, stones and poles.
“They are protesting against new municipal demarcations in the area,” said Otto earlier in a report.
“Motorists are still advised to avoid the area.”
