MOKOPANE – Six armed suspects broke into a well-known business in Mokopane in the early hours of Sunday morning and fled with R20 000 cash and a bakkie worth R80 000, which they loaded full of stolen products.
According to Mokopane police spokesperson, Sgt Irene Masingi, the suspects tied the security guard’s hands and feet with shoelaces and locked him in one of the company vehicles. “The suspects gained access to the business by breaking a window.”
Masingi further said the suspects broke into the safe and stole R20 000 cash.
“The security guard was not hurt and no shots were fired.

“No suspects have been arrested yet and the investigation is ongoing,” Masingi reported.
