Simon wins a car in top competition
A resident from Ga Mashashane Village outside of Mokopane was announced as the winner, out of more than 6 000 entries, last Saturday in the E. H. Hassim Builders World and Capricorn FM Win a Car competition.
MOKOPANE – A resident from Ga Mashashane Village outside of Mokopane was announced as the winner, out of more than 6 000 entries, last Saturday in the E. H. Hassim Builders World and Capricorn FM Win a Car competition.
“I am over the moon! This is the first time in the 51 years of my life that I have won a competition,” an ecstatic Simon Maloso Mashiane, told Bosveld.
More than a 1 000 residents of Mogalakwena eagerly counted off the minutes last Saturday at E.H. Hassim Builders World to hear if one of them is the proud new owner of a brand new vehicle.
The competition kicked off on 1 July and closed minutes before the draw on 12 December at 14:00. Customers had to visit E.H. Hassim Builders World and purchase items to the value of R500 or more to enter the competition. Roughly 6 500 entries were received in Mokopane.
The crowd was entertained with upbeat music, Capricorn FM’s renowned radio presenter, Big Daddy, was broadcasting live from the action, and the talented dancers from Segopa Cultural dance group and Manganani dance group enthralled the crowd with their moves.
E.H. Hassim Builders World Braai and Pap team dished up delicious food for the the crowd, while various competitions were held. The highlight of the day occurred at 14:00, the lucky draw.
With great anticipation the draw was done four times, due to the fact that the first three entrants were not present. You had to be present on the day of the draw for you to be declared the winner. The draw was done live on Capricorn FM and Mashiane was announced as the winner.
