LIMPOPO – 2 People died in a head-on collision on the R101 between Mokopane and Mookgophong on Thursday night at around 20:30.
According to Kagiso Mootane, Traffic Spokesperson: “The driver of a Sedan overtook a truck and collided head-on with another sedan. Two of the people that where travelling in the vehicle that overtook the truck died on the scene and the three people driving in the other Sedan were rushed to the Mookgophong Hospital with critical injuries.”
The identities of the victims will be released once the next of kin have been notified.
This accident occurred in less than 10 days after the tragic accident that claimed 15 lives also on the R101 between Mokopane and Mookgophong.
