4 Men behind bars for various crimes
Justice was served last Friday in the Mokerong Magistrate's Court after three men were each sentenced to 10 years' imprisonment and a fourth man to 12 years behind bars.
LIMPOPO – Justice was served last Friday in the Mokerong Magistrate’s Court after three men were each sentenced to 10 years’ imprisonment and a fourth man to 12 years behind bars.
According to Const Sello Leso, spokesperson for the Mahwelereng police, Jimmy Maswanganyi (24), Blessing Khosa (24), Tebogo Mokitlana (26) and Phinias Ngobeni (25) appeared before the Mokerong Magistrate’ s Court on charges of housebreaking, theft, armed robbery, possession of unlicensed firearms and theft out of a vehicle.
“Maswanganyi, Khosa and Mokitlana were each sentenced to 10 years’ imprisonment and Ngobeni was sentenced to 12 years’ imprisonment.
“These suspects are connected to numerous crimes that took place in 2013 in Bakenberg village.
” I applaud the hard work of the police and the justice system that brought these perpetrators to justice today.”
