New task teams to assist CPF exco to combat crime

Following the recent election of the community policing forum's (CPFs) executive committee, several task teams have been set in place

POLOKWANE –  The new committee has developed task teams to deal with certain areas to help combat crime in the city.

The task teams are divided into the following:

• Crime and intelligence.

• Operational and disaster.

• Legal.

• Community and signal.

• Information technology (IT).

• Community support.

• Event and recreational.

• Municipal.

Every task team has a leader who will join special meetings with the committee who will give the various teams duties and responsibilities.

Residents who would like to get involved in the task teams can send an e-mail to cpfmariaan@gmail.com.

In the e-mail, a short description of the interested party, including some background information and experience, is required.
