City FC star sustains serious injuries in a car accident
City FC star, Nazir Jacobs is in a critical condition but stable after his car crashed with the an on coming motorist in the Polokwane on Friday night.
POLOKWANE – Jacobs, popularly known as ‘Kaka’ has been admitted in one of the private hospitals in Polokwane.
Polokwane City FCs Media and Communications Manager, Tumelo Makgoara confirmed that Jacobs is still in hospital and the timing of the event is still sketchy at the moment.
Makgoaro said the club has been working with the police and the family to try and put the puzzles of what happened on that morning together and also to seek closure hence the delay of a statement from our side.
“The situation on its own is incomprehensible thus we had to wait for the right time following the police’s investigations. ‘Kaka’ as he is popularly known in the sporting fraternity is currently receiving the best care possible from a private hospital in the province of Limpopo and he is in a critical but manageable state,” he said.
“The club would like to thank the staff, players, family and supporters for all the overwhelming messages. We do acknowledge every single one of them and would like to urge anyone with a special message to Nazier to kindly drop them on our twitter page @Polokwane_City.
