LIMPOPO – Police spokesperson in the Thohoyandou cluster, Maj Mashudu Malelo, said the two people involved were attending a church conference in Fololovhodwe outside Mutale last Saturday.
“Around 22:00 last Saturday, a man of 40, seemingly lured the 15-year-old girl into nearby bushes where he raped her. He gave her R50 and told her to keep quiet about what happened,” said Malelo.
The girl told her grandmother what had happened and they opened a rape case with the Tshamutumbu Police Station,”
The man will appear in court in due course.
