Three suspects will appear in the Seshego Magistrate's Court tomorrow for possession of unlicensed firearms
POLOKWANE – Three suspects who were arrested for the possession of unlicensed firearms during a police operation in Seshego yesterday, will appear before the Seshego Magistrate’s Court tomorrow.
Col Ronel Otto, a provincial police spokesperson, said one of the firearms had its serial numbers filed off, while the other one was still intact.
“It is alleged that the suspects intended to rob one of the chain stores at a shopping centre in Seshego. They were arrested before they could execute their plan. Police are investigating the possibility that theses suspects could have been involved in other robberies or offences at various other places in the province,” Otto said.
