After many years of having to operate from churches, PEPPS Pre-School in Lebowakgomo recently moved into their newly built school premises built on 4 ha land donated to them.
PEPPS (the Project for the Establishment of Primary and Pre-Primary Schools) was launched in the province in 1998. PEPPS Polokwane campus, now known as PEPPS Polokwane Preparatory School and College was soon followed by the establishment of PEPPS Seshego, PEPPS Mankweng and PEPPS Lebowakgomo, all pre-schools.
PEPPS Lebowakgomo started operations in the Faith Mission Church and from 1996 to 2015 operated from the Presbyterian Church in Lebowakgomo.

Local traditional leader Rangoato Ledwaba in 2015 donated the school a 4 ha piece of land where they could build a school. In a record time of three months a R5 million project to build a school has been completed and at the beginning of this year phase 1 of the school, for Grade 0 and Grade 00 was operational. Phase 2 is to be launched this year and will cater for Grades 1 to 4.
Phase 3 for Grades 5 to 7 will be tackled in 2017. The school will be known as PEPPS Ga-Ledwaba, after the donor of the land. The ethos of the school, as with the other PEPPS schools, is that it is a Christian school, with an interdenominational culture.
A parents’ association will be elected before the end of this year, to govern the school with the principal.
