Moosa kidnapping: bail hearing continues today

The bail application of the three suspects, who were arrested in connection with the kidnapping of Anisah Moosa on 15 March 2016, will continue in the Polokwane Magistrate’s Court today.

POLOKWANE – According to provincial Hawks Spokesperson, Lt Matimba Maluleke, Samuel Kubo (28) Masilo Elias Gafane (33 ) and Benny Mudau (34) face charges of hijacking and the attempted murder.

“After the arrest of Kubo, the investigation led to the arrest of Gafane and Mudau,” says Maluleke.

Anisah was kidnapped outside her uncle’s home in Nirvana  and was held hostage while the kidnappers demanded ransom from her family. A rescue operation led to her safe return.

The suspects have remained in police custody since their appearance on Thursday 28 April.
