General Piet Joubert School Netball teams did well recently at the league competition held at Mahlasedi Special School in Lebowakgomo.
The u.19 and u.16 teams walked away with gold, while the u.14 team was awarded a silver medal, having been beaten by Susan Strydom School. Learners from special needs schools (LSEN) will be competing in trials for the South African championships on 11 June in Margate. Ten learners will represent the province at the championships.
