Nelson Mandela Drive accident: 1 dead, 1 critical

POLOKWANE – The cause of the accident is still unknown, but Const Maphure Segobola, a Westenburg police Spokesperson said the vehicles were traveling in opposite directions when the accident happened.

“The one driver was certified dead at the scene, one was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries and is critical at this stage and the other was treated for minor injuries. No arrest have been made yet and we are investigating a case of culpable homicide,” Segobola said.

She also confirmed that no other vehicles were involved.
