Three women seriously injured in N1 accident
Three woman were injured when the vehicle they were travelling in overturned on the N1 South near Kranskop on Sunday, paramedics said.
LIMPOPO – ER24 paramedics came across the scene while transferring another incident reported ER24 spokesperson, Werner Vermaak.
“Two of the women were found outside the vehicle and one was still strapped inside the vehicle. Two of the women were critically injured and were placed on life support on the scene. The third injured sustained a fracture to her leg and other injuries but was in a “moderate” condition.”
Bystanders on the scene indicated that he car rolled for several metres before coming to a standstill on the side of the road said Vermaak.
An emergency helicopter was called to the scene to airlift of the patients to the hospital. The other two were transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital.
The cause of the accident is not yet know.
