A multi-vehicle accident caused Witklip Street in Ladine to be closed for traffic during peak hour on Friday morning.
A minibus taxi, Volkswagen Citi Golf and Toyota Tazz collided at the intersection of Witklip and Chroom streets and traffic en route to Mogwadi had to be re-routed to allow motorists to reach their destinations.
When Polokwane Observer arrived on the scene shortly after 07:00, the persons injured had already been taken to hospital and a bystander informed that there were no fatalities.
Several attempts to obtain further information from Maphure Manamela, Police Spokesperson at Westenburg Police, proved futile.
