Rotary Club open their hearts to fellow rotarians, community

It was work as usual at the Rotary Club of Polokwane, they hosted members from the Rotary Club of Francistown in Botswana, donated wheelchairs to needy recipients at Polokwane Nasorgsentrum and Bella Vista Old Age Home, and assisted the Department of Health with a community screening campaign at Siloe School for the Blind.

POLOKWANE – “The screening campaign saw 183 residents from different ages being tested for medical conditions,” explains Ursula Moodie, former President of the Rotary Club of Polokwane.

The Francistown Rotary members arrived in Polokwane on Friday, 14 October. On Saturday afternoon they enjoyed a  pleasant outing to Haenertsburg, which included lunch and Craft beer tasting, on Saturday evening they were treated to a perfect Polokwane braai  at the Polokwane Club. To end their wonderful stay in Polokwane they had fun at the Rotary Club of Pietersburg 100 family fun day on Sunday, before returning home to Botswana.
