Local ‘missing’ girl found in drug house

Help find Bianca de Nysschen: This statement spread like a wildfire on social media, after a former Polokwane resident went missing in Tzaneen on Monday.

POLOKWANE – Marius Jacobs from Northern Security in Tzaneen, informed local Community Police Forum (CPF) vice-president, Johan Duvenhage that Bianca went missing and asked for assistance.  Duvenhage posted the message on a local Whatsapp group and the Polokwane community joined hands to help find her.

According to Duvenhage a woman contacted him and said she  knows where Bianca is. Duvenhage then informed the CPF chairman, Johan Retters as he is responsible for the area Bianca was found in.  Duvenhage drove to the house the woman mentioned and upon his arrival found four young men. “I  could smell drugs, and I asked the men if they were using drugs to which they replied, no. I walk out and asked for assistance from other CPF members on the scene. We entered the house and found loads of drugs, from cocaine to marijuana, and empty drug bags.”

Bianca was placed in the care of the woman who  initially tipped-off Duvenhage. He explained that Bianca’s mother recently passed away, this being the reason why she moved from Polokwane to Tzaneen to live with her sister.

Jacobs travelled from Tzaneen the next morning to take Bianca home.

Our sister newspaper Letaba Herald spoke to Jacobs and he had the following to say…

“I decided to use my own money to fetch her. She is back in Tzaneen and in a safe place under supervision,” says Jacobs.

A 20-year-old man was arrested on charges of drug possession. He appeared before the Polokwane Magistrates Court on Thursday.  He remains in custody following his next court appearance.
