Top education in Mokopane circuit

The Mokopane District Education Awards saw gr 12 learners and educators awarded for their hard work during the past year.

THE Mokopane District Education Awards were held on 21 January at the Hans van Rensburg Hall, where gr 12 learners and educators were awarded for their hard work during the past year.

The Education Department gives thanks to all it’s sponsors especially E.H Hassim Hardware who was the main sponsor of the event.

The following results were mentioned during the ceremony:

The top three schools in the Mokopane Circuit:

  • Mapanolla Secondary school with a 100% pass rate
MF Tstatsi and MD Moshidi is very proud of MA Kaapu who's school is crowned in first place for the best school in the circuit. With them is MJ Ralekgokgo.

  • Ramogabudi Secodary school with a 94.7% pass rate
  • Matsibe Secondary school with a 94.4% pass rate

The top three schools in the Mokopane Circuit per Batchelors degrees:

  • Ramogabudi Secondary school with 35 achieved degrees
  • Mapanolla Secondary school with 4 achieved degrees
  • Mmadikana Secondary school with 16 achieved degrees

The top educators per subject in the Mokopane Circuit:

  • Life Orientation – I Mashao from Masodi Secondary school
  • Afrikaans SAL

  • Life Science – MA Sekoala from Tetema Secondary school
  • History
MR Mongale, LS Tema, MJ Mathobela, the awardee SJ Baloyi who got a certificate for being the best educator in History and MJ Ralekgokgo.

  • Geopgraphy
RLG Mokhonoana is awarded for being the best educator in Geopgraphy. With her is LS Tema.

  • Maths Literacy
KE Semenya was awarded the best educator in Maths Literature award.

  • Accounting
MJ Motsili is rewarded for being the best Accounting educator of the year. With him is MR Mongae, LS Tema, MJ Mathobela and MJ Ralekgokgo.

  • Agricultural Science
LH Baloyi received an award for being the best teacher in Agricultural Science. With him on the photo is MR Manamela, MH Seabela, GF Snyman and MJ Ralekgogo.

  • Business Studies

  • Maths – MA Kaapu from Mapanolla Secondary school
  • Economics – RE Matsimela from Ramogabudi Secondary school
  • Sepedi HL – NB Ramoroka from Mpirwabirwa Secondary school
  • English FAL – TK Kekana from Ramogabudi Secondary school
  • Physical Science – MM Somela from Mapanolla Secondary

  • Mpho Kekana from Ramogabudi school with an average of 84.85%

  • Tlou Kliford Mathobela from Ramogabudi school with an average of 79.85%
  • Thabiso Simon Sekutu from Ramogabudi shool with an average of 78.85%
  • Tshupjane Thato Malou from Ramogabudi school with an average of 78.28%
  • George Madimetja Moshidi from Masodi school with an average of 77.1%
  • William Thabo Mello from Ramogabudi school with an average of 76.14%
  • Refilwe Given Kekana from Ramogabudi school with an average of 74.42%
  • Mokgaetsi Kgaogelo Kekana from Ramogabudi school with an average of 71.85%
  • Emily Mashimbe from Mapanolla school with an average of 71.2%
