Bakenberg awards their top achievers

POLOKWANE – Bakenberg South circuit held their annual educational awards ceremony last Friday at the Taayob Hall where the Gr 12 class of last year, primary school learners and educators were awarded for their hard work and dedication throughout the past academic year.

The following awards were handed over according to different categories:

The top Gr 12 educators in various subjects:

• Accounting – Rf Kekae who obtained 100%

• Agricultural science – PJ Sepale who obtained 91,1%

• Business studies – MK Mautla who obtained 100%

• Consumer studies – RJ Langa who obtained 100%

• Economics – MP Mabokela who obtained 90%

• English first additional language – LK Mokhonoana who obtained 100%

• Geopgraphy – YT Sathekge who obtained 92 %

• Life orientation – KE Malepa who obtained 100%

• Life science – KD Manganye who obtained 100%

• Mathematical literacy – JL Legodi who obtained 92,1%

• Mathematics – S Makoni who obtained 100%

• Physical science – D Mahlwana who obtained 100%

• Sepedi home language – KR Malatji who obtained 100%

• Tourism – MP Molekwa who obtained 100%

• Business studies – Mbiza Nthabiseng who achieved 79%

• Life sciences – Thana Mokitlana who achieved 79%

• Mathematics – Thana Mokitlana who achieved 73%

• Phsiacal science – Thana Mokitlana who achieved 71%

• Sepedi home language – Bridget Sedibana who achieved 86%

• Kgaubotlhale Secondary School with a 100% pass rate

• Mookamedi Secondary School with a 90,9% pass rate

• Nkube Seconday School with a 89,5% pass rate

The three top schools in the circuit according to bachelor degrees obtained:

• Nkube Secondary School with 31,6 % bachelor degrees achieved

• Mookamedi Secondary School with 28,6% bachelor degrees achieved

• Matopa Secondary School with 2,2% bachelor degrees achieved
