Mitchell House College open day

As the first term of the year drew to a close, Mitchell House College hosted an open day event for Gr 7 learners and their parents.

POLOKWANE – This event was held on Saturday for prospective Gr 8 college learners to introduce them to all the college has to offer.

After the personnel and prefects of the college had welcomed the guests in the school’s amphitheatre, they opened the procedures with Scripture readings and a prayer.

Thereafter the attendees enjoyed a sports presentation and a performance by the Mitchell House choir.

Headmaster Andrew Cook, emphasised why it was important to consider Mitchell House for their children’s educational future.

Cook invited the parents and their children on a tour through the college to give them a clear indication of what Mitchell House College entails, including the boarding house and College Block. He indicated that Mitchell House makes use of the latest technology to help improve the educational qualities for its learners.

The personnel accompanied the parents through the college and the prefects conducted the tour for the visiting learners.
