Chase ensues by SOS following attempted hi-jacking

Special Operations Service (SOS) responded and rushed to the scene.

MOKPANE – SOS received a call from a distressed woman last week Friday just after 07:00 stating that she was almost high-jacked near Waterberg High School in Dudu Madisha Street.

On their way, SOS spotted a suspicious blue Volkswagen Jetta standing with his bonnet open on the corner on Kruger and Meintjies Street with three occupants.

SOS approached the vehicle for further investigation and one of the suspects pulled out a firearm.

The suspect fired two shots at SOS and fled the scene.

SOS chased the suspects into the bushes where they found one suspect (22), the other two are still at large.

The suspect will appear in court on 20 April, he remains in custody.

SOS discovered later that the vehicle was earlier stolen in Schoeman Street
