Case of culpable homicide opened after horrific three-vehicle crash in Limpopo

LIMPOPO – Two people were killed when three vehicles collided outside Groblersdal on Tuesday afternoon, said the police.

According to a statement issued by Police Spokesperson, Lt Col Moatshe Ngoepe,  the three vehicles collided along the R25 road near Bloemport near Dennilton.

“The two occupants travelling in the Ford Fiesta were killed instantly and the two occupants travelling in a BMW sustained serious injuries.” The driver of the Hyundai Elantra was not injured, added Ngoepe.

The exact cause of this accident is unknown and will form part of culpable homicide investigation at the Dennilton Police Station.
