Surveyor killed in collision at construction site

Patrick Moatomabe (31) died after he allegedly lost control of his vehicle on the gravel road

MOKOPANE – A site surveyor at the CMC Di Ravenna construction site died at the site in a vehicle collision on Monday.

The deceased, Patrick Moatomabe.

The driver of the vehicle, Patrick Moatomabe (31) and two passengers collided with concrete palisades along the site. Both passengers survived the accident with no serious injuries.

The cause of the accident is still unknown but it seems Moatomabe lost control of the vehicle on the gravel road.

The bakkie crashed through the concrete palisades.

The Mokopane Police could not give any further information about the accident.

The managing team of the construction site sends their condolences to Moatombane’s family. His funeral will take place in Tzaneen on Sunday.
