Employees of the BB Motor Group in Polokwane supported a blood drive of the South African National Blood Service (SANBS) Polokwane held in the company’s Nissan showroom last Thursday.
The Mobile Clinic set out to reach a target of 13 units during the two hours they were allocated but managed to acquire three units when their time ended.
According to Nelly Serumula, SANBS Polokwane Registered Nurse, they had expected a quiet morning because it was a different location than they were used to and they had some delays when they started.
On Friday 16 and Saturday 17 June, the SANBS Mobile Clinic will set up in Savannah Mall’s Mugg and Bean Court from 09:00 to 14:00 on both days with a collective target of 29 units over the two days. On Monday the clinic will be in the Limpopo Mall Parking area where they will try to harvest 13 units and on Thursday, 22 June the Mobile Clinic will be found in the School Hall of Pietersburg Laerskool from 07:00 until 19:00 with a target of 200 units.
