Fire breaks out at Musina municipal building

Police say the motive and the cause of the fire is still unknown.

LIMPOPO – Part of the Municipal Offices caught fire on Saturday night, 1 July, in the housing department office.

Police spokesperson Lt Col Moatshe Ngoepe says the fire was extinguished before it spread further.

Preliminary investigations conducted at the scene of crime have found that only documents and furniture were partly burn.

“The motive and cause of this fire is still unknown, however, investigations will tell as they are still unfolding,” Ngoepe said.

Suspects in this matter are unknown and no arrests have been made as yet.
