POLICE: Remains of missing Limpopo man (26) found

A skull and bones were found in mountains neat Mutale

LIMPOPO – Human remains believed to be that of a 26-year-old man who was reported missing earlier this year, were found in Mafhohoni mountains near Mutale.

Muzila Shumani from Tshamulungwi village, Mutale was reported missing on 31 March 2017.

The remains which included a skull, 3 ribs, a limb bone and some clothes were discovered by residents cutting trees in the area, said Brigdier Motlafela Mojapelo.

“The police were informed a a family member of the victim identified the clothes as similar to those worn by the deceased at the time of his disappearance.”

The remains will be taken for DNA and forensic examination to determine the identity of the victim and possible cause of death, added Mojapelo.
