Three suspects remanded in custody for killing 62-year-old woman

Continuous invetigation into the case has led to the recovery of two firearms believed to have been used during the said incident, reports the police

LIMPOPO – Police spokesperson Lt Col Moatshe Ngoepe says the suspects were remanded in custody until 10 August for further investigations to take place.

The suspects are aged between 26 and 32-years-old and are from the Thohoyandou and Giyani areas.

They were arrested in the Seselamani area by a special police task team, after Mamaila Maria Maluleke was shot dead, and during the arrest, a car believed to be the one which was utilised during the murder, was recovered.

Meanwhile, in Zaaiplaas, police have launched a massive manhunt for the suspects who attacked and killed 66-year-old Linah Ngwenya, in Madalastand.

The suspects are still unknown and no arrests have been made as yet.

The motive behind the murder is still unknown but police investigations continue.
