The Vision of Hope Foundation (VOHF) has moved closer towards their dream of owning the portion of land on which the Myngenoegen Shelter is currently situated when they were presented with a generous donation of R60 000 from PanSolutions Polokwane on Friday.
Craig Rosendorff, PanSolutions Managing Director said the donation is for a worthy cause: “At the company we have a philosophy to give back to the community as much as possible.”
Charles van Wyk, VOHF Board Member, said the shelter, currently managed by Rotary Club of Pietersburg 100 and VOHF, still needs a further R800 000 to finalise the purchase of the property. He expressed gratitude towards PanSolutions and said the board was looking forward to a long relationship with the company.
Peter Mockford, Rotary Club of Pietersburg 100 President said that the shelter was performing well and in a short space of time had helped seven residents get back on their feet and find employment at various companies during the last two months.
Van Wyk can be contacted on 076 127 2517.
