[WATCH] Powerful performance lands learners with gold, silver

Wowing the judges and the audience, the Gr 7 learners of Laerskool Ivypark raked in the accolades with their outstanding performances.

POLOKWANE – The learners performed formal poetry, dramatised poetry (groups and individuals), dramatized poetry and storytelling (individuals) and miming (groups) among others. They received gold and silver certificates for their performances at the recent annual eisteddfod.

[WATCH] Among the performers, Maselewe Molepo, Michelle Malungane and Thipi Mello stood out among the rest with their dramatised poetry small group performance of Halloween.

They received between 70 and 100% for their performance.

The school also received a special visit from Skeem Saam actor, Erick Macheru (Leeto Maputla on Skeem Saam) to congratulate the learners on their achievements during the eisteddfod and to encourage them to keep up the good work.
