Auditions for local film to be held in Polokwane this weekend

Tlou Tlou Productions will host open auditions for a feature film called ‘Mazulu a Polokwane’ on Saturday, 25 November.

POLOKWANE – Tlou Tlou Productions will host open auditions for a feature film called ‘Mazulu a Polokwane’ to recruit and nurture new actors in Limpopo.

Executive Producer, America Ngwepe says they will be shooting the film from 12 – 15 December around Blood River, Makgofe, Spook Park and Mmotong wa Perekisi outside Seshego.

“The film emanates from a true story of gangs who terrorised residents in the same villages about four years ago, by stealing and even hacking their victims to death with pangas and butcher knifes. The armed groups called themselves Ma-Zulu, Mateki, Mawestside, Maprisioners, and Ma24 comprising of teenagers who ruled the community with an iron fist. The film is based on a naive young girl who stood tall against all odds to fight against terrorism and finds love out of this community turmoil,” America added.

The auditions will be held in Polokwane between 09:00am and 14:00pm on Saturday 25 November 2017 Venue: Witbank Engineering College opposite Ultra Liquor (Schoeman Street).
