POLOKWANE – According to the Moremi Matome, spokesperson for the department of transport, the accident occurred when the driver of a Hino truck lost control following a puncture.
“The vehicle overturned killing three women (ages 30, 40 and 60-years-old) and left 12 other passengers seriously injured. Two other passengers were slightly injured,” he said.
Matome also confirmed that the injured passengers were all taken to Pietersburg Provincial Hospital for treatment.
