LIMPOPO – Police in Modjadjiskloof, outside Tzaneen, have launched a manhunt for five armed suspects who committed a business robbery in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
According to police spokesperson, Brigadier Motlafela Mojapelo, the 40-year-old complainant was sleeping alongside his three brothers inside their shop when five men broke in and began shooting at them.
“The suspects took an undisclosed amount of cash and cell phones. Two of the brothers were injured during the shooting and were taken to hospital,” Mojapelo explained.
As the suspects were fleeing from the scene on foot, they shot at ta police patrol vehicle doing routine patrol duties in the area, but non of the members were injured.
