Blood drive well supported

MGM Motors Polokwane held another highly successful blood drive on their premises in Hans van Rensburg Street recently.
According to Dottie Pinn, SANBS Limpopo Public Relations Officer, 11 units were collected. “We appreciate every drop of blood donated and MGM Motors has always been very good to us and their blood drives are well attended,” she said.
Speaking on behalf of MGM Motors, Lee-Anne Vonderstein said quite a few personnel members are regular donors. First time donors were George Chauke and Frans Ramoshaba. Chauke said he decided that, seeing as it is a new year, he will try new things. “I want to help people and I think this is a good way to do so,” he added.
Sales manager, Steve Boudouris said he has already donated 26 times. “Before I came to Polokwane, I was a donor in the Cape. “Other people need blood, and I can give it to them. It’s as simple as that,” he said.
